HELPING HANDS ~ A Holiday Event to Benefit the Corazon de Vida Foundation

A night of performances, tradional Oaxacan cuisine, top shelf tequila, live music, and amazing raffle prizes!! Live performances by Banda Imperio Sinaloense, Folklorio Nuestras Raises, DJ Foras, Maleco Collective. Raffle prizes donated by Macys, Los Angeles Dodgers, Telemundo/MUN2, Gibson Guitars, Jenni Rivera, Guess Jeans, Dogeard Jewels, and more.
Nov 16: Live Performance Update - OZOMATLI was just confirmed to play a set to support CDV.
Ticket cost is only $45.00 for an unforgetable evening of delicious Guelaguetza Oaxacan food, live music, friends, and opportunities to help feed and support abandoned children living in Baja Mexico Orphanages. Tickets are $50.00 at the door. Event INVITATION.

The Corazon de Vida Foundation (http://corazondevida.org) supports orphanages in Baja Mexico by raising contributions and volunteer work to benefit and empower the orphan and homeless children of Baja. Our vision is to see that these children have someone committed to the possibility that their lives hold the same excitement and opportunity as children in the USA do!

Operations:
Corazon de Vida (CDV) was formed in 1994 to raise funds and support for the children of Baja, Mexico. Without funds for housing, food or social programs for orphaned, homeless and abandoned children, Mexico is not able to provide a future for its youngest citizens.
Many of these children are found living on the streets, while a lucky few have been taken in by well meaning families. These families offer help to one or two children in desperate need, and shortly find themselves running a home for as many as 75 or more children. The families often seek support from churches, area businesses or friends to feed and clothe the children, but there are no government funds.
CDV coordinates corporate, community and volunteer support to provide funds, volunteer help, and a caring hand to the children. Funds raised help pay for food, utilities, housing, medical, education and other basic needs of life. Many children in Baja orphanages do not get a regular nutritious meal. CDV hopes to change that for the 750 children living at 14 orphanages that they support each day.
